Celebrating Money Miracles: I Found Over $2,000 Last Week

“Feel that you are getting rich, and that in doing so you are making others rich and conferring benefits to all.” – Wallace D. Wattles

At least once a month, one of my best girlfriends calls to celebrate her money miracles. She is a magnet for financial wins!

Do you know people like that?

I love celebrating with her because when she shares her money miracles, it opens up the possibility to experience my own.

Last week, I had a money miracle and couldn’t wait to share with you.

Remember the post I sent out about the magic of presence and all the good stuff that happened while I was in Texas?

Well, shortly after I sent that post, I logged onto my Paypal account to send my new client a payment request.

What did I find?!

A balance of over $2,000 that had been on there for a couple months!

I had no idea.

Here’s why this is so cool -

While I was in Texas, I took a permanent cosmetics class. The entire class and travel expenses were put on my credit card and I didn’t know exactly how I would pay it off.

  • Class: $2,000
  • Additional training: $200
  • Hotel: $300

On my way home, I felt a little overwhelmed with everything I had coming up: finally getting my book out into the world, rebranding, new pictures, holidays, finding a new home, looking for space for to practice my new skill. It was all hitting me after being totally present in Texas.

I said a prayer:

“If this is a path I’m supposed to be on (meaning adding permanent cosmetics to the 600 things I already had going on), please make it easy.”

Then a few days later I found that big balance, got a new client, and the card was paid off. I was ecstatic!

I used to always tell my money clients to look for money miracles. Sometimes I called it “Magic Money” and had them write down the specific amount they needed.

Usually within a week they were emailing to celebrate an unexpected check, a raise or new job, or some other awesome money miracle. It was so fun to see how life showed up for them when they were open to it.

Celebrate this money miracle with me by sharing your own in the comments. I can’t wait to read about it.

    WOOHOO!!! That’s awesome! *high five*

  2. Yay! What a lovely surprise! Wishing you Many More Money Miracles to come :)

  3. I had the same experience. I was sitting there last week noticing that my clients sessions were a bit low and I wondered out loud, “Humm I wonder how God is going to pay me this week?” That very day I received three residual checks in the mail. Because I have not worked in the acting industry for a few years now, those checks can sometimes be small. But all three were health size and I could almost hear my internal teach saying… “Why do you doubt me? I got you!” God is good and I believe in miracles.

    Continued blessings for all
    !

God is amazing! I’ve been praying for my finances for the past few years. Currently, I’m providing supervision for someone for their license: $200/month, shooting videos for a local hospital for their continuing ed programs: $325 – $650 per month, teaching an online class at work: $550 per semester, we’ve gotten raises and lowered our grocery bill by $100 – $150 per month through price matching and coupons. Now I’m building a website and hope to have online courses available by early next year. God is limitless in His blessings. One thing I’ve noticed, when I share with others, He always gives back, one way or another.

    • Karie says:

Yes, you’re so right! Your generosity is always returned. Love this, Valerie. Good luck with your website and online courses. Send me the URL when it’s finished so I can celebrate with you. Thanks for sharing! xo

Inspired by this thread, I stepped back from the biz to be present with my daughter & do a spa treatment for us in our sauna.

I checked my email after I put her to bed & got a great surprise – a new lead from someone I’ve never even met while I was enjoying a sauna! Plus a potential collaboration partner for this big launch I’m working on for next year. Woohoo for investing in strategic self-care!

    • Karie says:

Yessssss!!! Veera, that’s awesome. Thanks for sharing, girl. And I’m sure your daughter absolutely loved the treat. So good to hear from you, btw. xoxo

I don’t have a good story this week (a victim of the Target credit breach) but I am praying it all works out and I find a surprise at the end of this little journey. But I do enjoy reading about all the other wins!

    • Karie Hill says:

Bummer! I’m sorry to hear that happened to you. You never know what kind of money miracle might be around the corner for you. Be open to it! xo
